It takes but quarter-hour to snap hoses on connectors, place in window, add foam strip to stop air & bugs from returning in. No significant lifting! I counsel putting some no odor silicone spray [food grade from Amazon or Grainger Industrial Supply] or Armor All that has some silicone in it, on the elements that snap along. It makes it easier next season to place on and take away the hoses too. Also, run a bead of silicone sealant round the little house between the hose connector that matches into window adapter. No air or bugs will get in that method. i am writing nearly everything that won't within the owner's manual.
